Tea cup with design of plums and bird by a kiln of the 14th Kakiemon Sakaida [ot60925]

This pattern of plum and bird is inherited as representative pattern of Kakiemon style from the middle of Edo period.
The branch tips of plum give expanse to the whole of the tea cup.
Moreover, the red flowers of plum and green bird are kept by exquisite balance in the beautiful form.
And the form of beautiful curve enhances this pattern by pure white blank.
